INGREDIENTS
Prep vegetables. Combine soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, red pepper flakes, and brown sugar in a bowl. Whisk to combine and set it aside.
Heat sesame oil in a large soup pot over medium heat.
Add the diced onion and cook until it becomes translucent. Add the ground beef to the pot and cook until it is browned and cooked through.
Once the beef is cooked, stir in the rice, beef broth, and soy sauce mixture. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid. Let it simmer for 18-22 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and has absorbed the liquid.
Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit for 8-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the rice to fully absorb the liquid.
Serve the One-Pot Beef Fried Rice immediately, garnished with carrot, sriracha and fresh spring onion. Enjoy!
