INGREDIENTS
Beef and Broccoli Sauce:
Prep vegetables. Combine the pressed garlic, ginger, hot water, soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Whisk to combine and set it aside.
Grab a pan, turn to medium heat and add in sesame seeds. Toast for 2-3 minutes or until golden. Remove and set aside.
Heat a skillet over medium heat with 1 tbsp of canola oil. Add the sliced broccoli and cook until it softens. Remove it from the skillet and set it aside.
Slice the beef into long, thin strips. Add 1 tbsp of canola oil to the same skillet where you cooked the broccoli. Add the beef and cook until it turns golden brown.
Pour the prepared sauce over the beef and bring it to a light simmer.
Add the cooked broccoli back to the skillet. Stir to combine everything together and cook for about 3 minutes.
Serve the Beef and Broccoli over rice with toasted sesame seeds and green onions on top. Enjoy!
