INGREDIENTS
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
Add the diced onion, minced garlic, and carrot to the skillet. Sauté for a few minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
Stir in the rice, beef broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the skillet and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Stir in the frozen peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for a few minutes. Fluff the rice with a fork.
Serve the Asian-inspired rice and beef skillet hot, and garnish with sliced green onions. Enjoy!
