INGREDIENTS
Prep the vegetables and herbs.
In a deep skillet, cook the ground beef with olive oil until it's browned. Remove onto plate.
Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, garlic, basil, oregano, and pepper. Cook until the onion is soft.
Stir in diced tomatoes (with juices), uncooked rice, and beef broth. Mix well.
Cover the skillet, turn up the heat to boil, then reduce to low and simmer for 15 minutes. Let it rest with the lid on for 5 more minutes.
While it simmers, mix tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce together.
After resting, fluff the rice with a fork, and pour the tomato sauce mixture on top. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, cover, and let it melt from the skillet's heat.
Finish with chopped parsley and serve. Enjoy!
