INGREDIENTS
Prep the veges. Mix salt and pepper into ground pork.
Heat pan with oil and add in ground pork. Stir until pork sausage has rendered down. Remove from pan. Pour rendered fat into a pot.
Add in onion and bell pepper and cook for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add in garlic and Della Basmati & Wild Rice, roast for another 5 minutes. Stirring frequently until rice get slightly toasted.
Add in the broth, diced tomatoes, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and mix together.Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 – 17 minutes.
Remove cover and add back in the cooked ground pork. Then, fluff rice mix with a fork, and let set for 15 minutes to absorb the rest of the liquids.
Scoop onto a bowl and sprinkle with cilantro. Enjoy!
