Basmati Mushroom Rice
Easy Cooking, Great Results
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup Della Basmati White Rice
- 8 oz. mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3-4 Tbsp butter, divided
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1.5 cups vegetable broth
- fresh parsley

Prep the vegetables.
Add 2 tbsp of butter into s skillet on medium heat.

Add in mushroom, stir frequently. Then add in garlic and saute until fragrant. Add in rice and roast for a minute or 2.
Add in the other tbsp of butter and dry seasonings. Stir to combine.
Pour vegetable broth on and let it get to a boil. Then put a lid on top, turn heat down to low and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes. Then take off heat and let the rice rest for 5 minutes to absorb flavoring.

Serve onto plate with parsley and parmesan. Enjoy!
