Spicy Stir Fried Squid with Jasmine Rice
Easy Cooking, Great Results
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup Della Basmati Rice
- 1 pound cleaned squid flower
- 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tsp sesame seed as garnish
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hot pepper past - gochujang
- 2 tsp of brown sugar
- 3-6 green onions, cut into 2 inch long
- 1 red chili pepper, sliced
- 2 shallots or 1 medium red onion
- 1 small carrot, sliced into thin strips

Cook Della Jasmine White Rice by rinsing your rice until the water becomes clear and add in what is shown in the video. Prep vegetables, starch & sauce.

Heat up a pan over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil to the pan. Stir-fry chopped onion, carrot, green onion, and green chili pepper for about 7 to 8 minutes until the green onions wilt and the onion looks a little see-through.

Add the squid and seasoning paste. Stir-fry for a few minutes until the squid turns opaque (not see-through). Mix in the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water) and cook for 30 seconds.
