INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup Della Basmati Brown Rice
- 2 pork chops
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 roma tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp canola oil
- 1-2 tbsp water
Step 1
- Cook Della Basmati Brown Rice as instructed. Prep veggies. Season pork chops on both sides with salt & pepper
Step 2
- Heat skillet over medium heat and add in oil. Once hot, add in your pork chops and let it cook for 5-8 minutes on each side, depending on thickness. (press down on pork chops for even browning) Set side.
Step 3
- Add in green onion stalks, garlic and stir until fragrant. Stir in tomatoes and cook for a few minutes until softened. Add in soy sauce, brown sugar, water and stir all together. Let boil and then cover for a few minutes for the flavors to combine. Then add pork chops back in and ladle on the tomato sauce.
Step 4
- Serve with Basmati Brown Rice and garnish with green onions. Enjoy!
