Spicy Chili Lime Shrimp

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup Della Basmati Rice
  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 garlic cloves finely minced
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • ¾ teaspoon salt & pepper
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ⅛ teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 slices of lime
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro

Step 1

  • Prepare Della Jasmine Rice as directed. Mince the garlic, chop the cilantro, slice lime wedges, and juice the lime. In a medium bowl, combine shrimp, minced garlic, chili powder, paprika, salt, pepper, cayenne, red pepper flakes, and sugar. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly.

Step 2

  • Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 3 minutes on each side. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the lime juice and chopped cilantro right away.

Step 3

  • Serve the flavorful shrimp with Della Jasmine Rice and enjoy every bite!
