INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup Della Basmati Rice
- 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
- 2 garlic cloves finely minced
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- ¾ teaspoon salt & pepper
- ½ to 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
- ½ to 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ⅛ teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 slices of lime
- ¼ cup chopped cilantro
Step 1
- Prepare Della Jasmine Rice as directed. Mince the garlic, chop the cilantro, slice lime wedges, and juice the lime. In a medium bowl, combine shrimp, minced garlic, chili powder, paprika, salt, pepper, cayenne, red pepper flakes, and sugar. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly.
Step 2
- Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 3 minutes on each side. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the lime juice and chopped cilantro right away.
Step 3
- Serve the flavorful shrimp with Della Jasmine Rice and enjoy every bite!
