Skillet Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloin with Rice

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup Della Basmati White Rice
  • 2 pc pork tenderloin
  • 1 tsp Salt and ½ tsp pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ⅛ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 small yellow or white onion
  • 2 roma tomatoes
  • ½ cup orange juice & zest
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Step 1

  • Make the rice as instructed in a pot or InstantPot (video).

    Prep the vegerables. Salt & pepper the pork tenderloins. In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, brown sugar, garlic, orange juice and zest.

Step 2

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork tenderloin and sear it on all sides until browned. Set aside.

  • Add in onion, tomato and a bit of salt to the same skillet and saute for about 1 minute. Then add in the sauce mix and deglaze.

  • Add back in the pork tenderloin and drizzle the glaze on top.

Step 3

  • Serve the balsamic glazed pork tenderloin over rice and sprinkle fresh parsley on top. Enjoy!
