Easy Cooking, Great Results
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2-3/4 Cup Della Basmati & Wild Rice
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 – 1 onion diced
- 2 sticks celery chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 heaping tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 (28 fluid ounce) can diced tomatoes with juices
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 large Russet potatoes diced
- 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Parsley, garnish
Step 1
- Prep the veges.
- Add oil, onion and celery into your InstantPot and press Saute to cook for 4 minutes (or until onion is translucent).
Step 2
- Toss in ground beef, garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Cooked until beef is browned, stirring occasionally so the garlic doesn’t burn. Cook for 5-6 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste, diced tomatoes, Della Basmati & Wild Rice, beef broth, potatoes, and Italian seasoning, onion powder & garlic powder.
Step 3
- Close the lid, make sure the valve is on “sealing”, and cook on high pressure for 8 minutes. Once the countdown has finished, do a quick pressure release.
Step 4
- Sprinkle with parsley, salt & pepper as needed and serve immediately. Enjoy!
