Old Bay Tilapia over Cabbage and Basmati Brown Rice

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup Della Basmati Brown Rice
  • 1 Tilapia fillet, halved
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ¼ cabbage, chopped
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp salt & pepper to taste

Step 1

  • Cook Della Basmati Brown Rice as instructed. Prep veggies. Season tilapia fish on both sides with the Old Bay seasoning.

Step 2

  • Heat skillet with ½ tbsp of oil on medium-hi heat. Once hot, add in garlic, cabbage, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and stir together. Let it cook for 1-2 mins and stir to cook the other side for another minute. Set aside.

Step 3

  • Add in ½ tbsp of oil, add in tilapia and cook for 2-3 mins. Flip, cook for another 2 mins and remove. 

Step 4

  • Set up your plate with basmati brown rice, stir fried cabbage, cherry tomatoes and tilapia. Enjoy!
