20 Min Meal: Roasted Garlic Chili Rice

This delicious Roasted Garlic Chili Rice stir is made with Della’s Jasmine with Roasted Garlic, elevating it from everyday classic to out-of-this-world good. Quick and easy-to-follow, this stir will most certainly become one of your seasonal weeknight go-tos!


– Della Jasmine with Roasted Garlic, cooked as directed

– Ground Beef, cooked and spiced with salt, pepper, chili powder and paprika

– Kidney Beans

– Onions, chopped and cooked

– Green Bell Pepper, chopped and cooked

– Roma Tomatoes, chopped and cooked

– Toppings: Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Green Onions, Avocado (chopped), Cilantro and Sour Cream

To Assemble Your Stir:

Start with Della Jasmine with Roasted Garlic as the base for your stir. Next layer on the ground beef, kidney beans, and last all those delicious veggies– onions, green pepper, and tomatoes. Finally, load it with toppings! We like cheddar cheese, green onions, avocado and sour cream. Serve and Enjoy!

Southern Comfort: Pulled Pork BBQ Rice Bowl!

This rice bowl is inspired by pure Southern goodness! It’s the classic BBQ pulled pork sandwich in rice bowl form. What’s better than that?! This hearty meal sticks to your bones and is perfect for a crisp fall evening, or to share as another tailgating party food fav. It’s comfort food at its best!


– Della Light Brown Basmati, cooked as directed

– Pulled pork shoulder, cooked, shredded, and topped with BBQ sauce (this can be made in the crockpot, slow cooked in the oven, or bought from your favorite BBQ shop, shhhh we won’t tell!)

– Pinto Beans, cooked

– Cole Slaw (use your family recipe or buy pre-made!)

– Shredded Cheddar Cheese

-Sour Cream

– Green Onions, chopped

– Cilantro, chopped

– Lime, wedged and squeezed on top

To Assemble Your Stir:

Start with Della Light Brown Basmati as the base for your stir, next layer on your BBQ pulled pork, then add the pinto beans, next, comes the cole slaw, and finally, go crazy with all those yummy toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions, cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lime! Serve and enjoy. Super simple and sooo tasty!

Make Your Tailgate Pop: Rice Stuffed Poppers 3 Ways!

Kick off the tailgating season with these deliciously bold rice stuffed poppers, aka the perfect tailgating party food! These poppers are incredibly flavorful and oh-so-cheesy. Once you pop you really might not be able to stop! We love combining classic tailgating food ingredients with the unique lineup of Della rice products. It really sets these bite sized party snacks apart from the rest.

Here’s our take on party poppers 3 ways with Della rice…

Bacon Jalapeño:

Cut your jalapeños in half lengthwise and fill with:

  • Della Light Brown Basmati, cooked as directed
  • Cream Cheese (just a pinch per pepper does the trick)
  • Bacon, fried and chopped
  • Top with Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Chorizo Fresno Pepper:

We used red fresno peppers to mix up the color combination, cut these in half and fill with:

  • Della Basmati & Quinoa, cooked as directed
  • Cream Cheese
  • Chorizo, cooked
  • Top with Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese

Buffalo Chicken Sweet Pepper:

We used sweet orange and yellow peppers, again, cut these in half and fill with:

  • Della Jasmine with Roasted Garlic, cooked as directed
  • Cream Cheese
  • Chicken, cooked and shredded, with your favorite Buffalo Sauce mixed in
  • Top with Blue Cheese Crumbles

Bake at 375 degrees, or broil to melt or char as desired.
